Gabriel is a bioinformatician who analyzes large-scale genomic and clinical datasets to drive meaningful improvements in health outcomes, and he’s eager to bring this expertise to Radicle. Trained as a biologist at UENF in Brazil, he transitioned into bioinformatics while researching the genetics and immunology of toxoplasmosis. Since then, he has supported companies around the world with end-to-end bioinformatics engineering—designing workflows that transform raw biological data into clear, actionable insights. Gabriel approaches hard problems with curiosity and an unconventional mindset, diving deep to understand how systems work, communicating directly, and grounding every decision in evidence.
He is motivated by opportunities to improve people’s lives through thoughtful applications of biology, software engineering, and data science. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys walking along sandy beaches with an audiobook or music in his ears, building closed terrariums and watching miniature ecosystems take shape. He’s passionate about heavy metal, jazz, computer games, and science fiction, and he lifts weights several times a week to stay balanced and energized.
