Lara is an adventurous individual passionate about multiculturalism, having lived in Belgium, Russia, Brazil, and currently in the US. For this reason she became part of the Latin-X Leadership Program at The Basement at UC San Diego while pursuing her B.A in International Business and B.S in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Design and Interaction. After she shared her goals with the Latin-X representative, he connected her with Pelin at Radicle Science. Radicle’s diverse, positive company culture, and our data-driven approach to everything we do inspired her to intern, then join as a full time employee a few months later.
While pursuing her degree at UC San Diego, Lara worked in a department that promoted educational and cultural events for international and out-of-state students, as well as mentored Brazilian high school students to prepare them for college in the US. She also interned for one of Brazil’s largest retailers, Americanas S.A, as a Marketing Assistant, and aided the creation of a loyalty program for one of their brands.
Lara is an early bird who spends the wee dawn hours lifting weights, doing yoga, kickboxing, playing tennis, or taking spin classes. When she is not traveling, she enjoys spending time at home reading on her Kindle.
