Sheldon’s focus is on the imagining and creation of innovative, scalable, user-friendly, and secure software for growth and customer happiness. His knowledge and experience with healthcare, cloud, data analytics, security, applied AI, and software development team leadership is a welcome asset for Radicle Science.
Sheldon has been a technical and business leader at numerous start-ups and contributed his expertise to multiple IPOs. While at WebMD, he held multiple senior technical leadership roles, including Chief Security Officer (startup through IPO to $1B/yr revenue). He has developed major clinical trials systems, electronic medical record systems, and payment systems including Medicare Advantage. He has been an advisor to several digital health startups leading to successful corporate acquisitions and is a long-term mentor and judge at the MassChallenge accelerator.
Sheldon earned his PhD, EE, and SM degrees from MIT (his Master’s thesis actually got him the PhD), and was a real rocket scientist at MIT Draper.
